Dr. Faulkenberry, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in general as well as bariatric surgery. He is skilled in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and has performed more than 2000 weight loss surgeries throughout his career. He is an expert in surgeries of – abdomen, stomach small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile duct as well as a disease involving skin, breast, soft tissues, and hernia.

He obtained his Medical Degree from the Central University of Venezuela. He completed his Surgical Residency from Yale University School of Medicine -New Haven Hospital, Connecticut. For his Fellowship Training in Cardiothoracic Surgery, we went to Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY, and for Fellowship Training in Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery, he went to the WISH Center in Downers Grove, Illinois, & Renton, Washington.
