Dr. Atif Iqbal is the Medical director of Bariatric Surgery at Foothill Regional Medical Center and also at MemorialCare Digestive Care Center at Orange Coast Memorial. He is a board-certified and fellowship trained surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive bariatric procedures and digestive disorder surgery. He also specializes in minimally invasive and robotic weight loss surgery. His areas of expertise include Gastro esophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s disease, benign and malignant disease of the esophagus and stomach, as well as motility disorders. He has done research and published in national and international journals on topics of Bariatric surgery and its impact and surgical management of GERD.

 

Currently he is CEO and President of “New Life Surgery” a very comprehensive Program specializes in surgical management of Bariatric Patients and Patient suffering from severe GERD.
