Dr. Ahmad, MD, FRCS, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with more than 30 years of surgical experience. He is a specialist in Bariatric Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is skilled in abdomen surgery like – esophagus (reflux), gallbladder, colon, spleen, and hernia. His surgical expertise includes – Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Robotic Assisted gastric bypass, Lap-Band, and the Sleeve Gastrectomy.

Medical background:

He did his Medical Degree from the University of Calcutta Medical College, India. He completed his  Surgical Residency from the University of Connecticut. For his Fellowship Training, he went to Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He also got a Master’s in Advanced Training in Laparoscopic Surgery fellowship) at the University of Virginia.
