He has more than 28 years of surgical experience. His surgical skills include procedures – Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Adjustable Gastric Band, Biliopancreatic Diversion and Duodenal Switch (BPD/DS), EndoSleeve, TIF, Stretta, Advanced Weight loss, and Reflux Surgery as well as Advanced Laparoscopy and Robotic Surgery.

He obtained his Medical Degree from the Russian State Medical University. He completed his Surgical Residency training from Huron Hospital – Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He also did his Advanced Training in Robotic and Incisionless Surgery from the same Foundation.
