Dr. L. Albert Wetter is Director of Bariatric Surgery at Mills-Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame, CA, and also practices at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California. He has been performing surgeries for more than 20 years and has taught advanced surgical courses in the United States, India, Argentina, Brazil, Spain and England.
Dr. Wetter has been a pioneer in bariatric surgery since early in his career. In 2002, he completed his first course in Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding, and has since devoted his professional life to contributing to the advancement of minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery.
