Dr. Uchal, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specialized in Bariatric Surgery and has more than 30 years of surgical experience. Other than bariatric surgeries, his area of interest includes – Gallbladder Removal, Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic surgeries.

Medical background:

He did his Medical Degree from the Pavol Jozef Safarik University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his Surgical Residency training from Allegheny General Hospital – Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He did dual Fellowship Training, one in Surgery at St. Vincenz Krankenhaus in Germany and the second in Surgery Research at HF Teaching Hospital.
