Dr. Claros MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with over 26 years of surgical experience. He has performed more than 4,000 bariatric surgeries in his career. His area of expertise includes – Laparoscopic Gastric Band placement, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass, Duodenal Switches, Robotic- Assisted Bariatric Operations, and revision surgeries. He is highly skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures as well as in the application of innovative approaches, like single-incision surgery, enhancing cosmetics results for patients.

Medical background:

He did his Medical Degree from UMSA in La Paz, Bolivia. He completed his Surgical Residency from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA. For his Fellowship Training in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatrics, he went to Tufts-New England Medical Center.
