Dr. Khalili, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and surgical critical care physician who has performed over 8000 bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgeries, serving the Los Angeles, California area. He performed the nation’s first robotic-assisted gastric bypass in 2002. He initiated the minimally invasive bariatric surgery as a part of a weight loss surgery program at Cedar Sinai Medical Center & was its Director till 2010.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from California State University, Northridge. He got a Medical Degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his Surgical Residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and also did his Fellowship training here in Surgical Critical Care.
