Dr. Hanna, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with a specialization in bariatric surgery. She has more than 21 years of experience. She specializes in weight reduction surgery, endocrine surgery, gastrointestinal and solid organ surgery. She also does a treatment of reflux disease and abdominal hernias.

She obtained her Medical Degree from Rush Medical College. She completed her Surgical Residency training from the Naval Medical Center. She went to the University Of Missouri, to do her Fellowship Training in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery.
