EXPERIENCE:

Over 25 years of experience in bariatric surgery

Has performed well over 4,000 weight-loss surgery procedures, including: laparoscopic gastric sleeve resection, gastric bypass surgery, revisional bariatric procedures and other advanced laparoscopic techniques aimed at minimizing pain and complication risk.

Known for reinforcing and imbricating staple lines in gastric sleeve surgery to reduce leaks and bleeding risks.

Founder of the Institute of Weight Control in Sydney.

Developed the “Circle of Care” program, a holistic, multidisciplinary support model for bariatric patients that includes dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
