He completed his bachelor of science in Biochemistry at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. May completed a residency in General Surgery at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Penn. He also completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Bariatric and Foregut Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Penn.
