Dr. Patterson, MD, FACS, FRCSC, is a board-certified general who has more than 31 years of experience. She has performed over 4,000 laparoscopic bariatric surgeries throughout her career. Her area of expertise includes – Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Bands, Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, and Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy.

Medical background:

She obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Toronto, Fac Med. For completing her Surgical Residency training, she went to British Columbia Fac Med. She did her Fellowship Training in advanced laparoscopic surgery from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City​.
