Dr. Patterson, MD, FACS, FRCSC, is a board-certified general who has more than 31 years of experience, currently operating out Portland, Oregon. She has performed over 4,000 laparoscopic bariatric surgeries throughout her career. Her area of expertise includes – Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Bands, Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, and Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy. Dr. Patterson was the first surgeon in the Northwest to specialize in laparoscopic bariatric surgery; she performed the first laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding surgery with the Lap-Band in the region.
